How breast implant removal is performed

Your incisions are then closed, usually with dissolvable stitches.

Your surgeon will make incisions around your areolas, remove excess breast skin, and may also raise the position of your nipples and areolas. Recovery

Most women can return to their normal activities after two to three days. If you also have a breast lift, then you may need to rest for around a week and avoid strenuous activity for about one month. You will have some pain, swelling, and discomfort, but this should subside after a few days.
